Guppy Grass (Najas guadelupensis) live aquatic plant

Guppy Grass (Najas guadelupensis) is visually attractive, but also extremely useful to fish and invertebrate breeders. It provides excellent refuge for fry while also helping to maintain very good water quality by absorbing nitrates.

Water Parameters:

Freshwater Aquatic Plant
Temperature: Guppy grass prefers a temperature range of 20-28°C
pH: It can tolerate a wide range of pH, from 6.0 to 8.0.
Water Hardness: It can handle various water hardness levels.

Guppy grass can thrive in a range of light conditions, from low to high.
While it can grow in low light, it will grow faster and denser with higher light levels.
If you notice the stems at the bottom of the plant turning dark, it may indicate insufficient light.

Planting/Floating:
Guppy grass can be planted in the substrate, but it's also commonly left floating in the tank. When planted, it can be anchored to the substrate with weights or by tucking it behind decorations.
